A single tool for the one job that wasn't built right.
Federal regulation is published transparently. The tooling to keep up with it is either free and noisy, or expensive and slow. There is a one-tool gap in the middle: substance-scored alerts, narrow topic filtering, immediate delivery, priced per watchlist. regflow is that tool.
§ 01 Why this exists
Every modern compliance team has the same workflow: someone in-house scans the Federal Register Daily Digest at 7am, forwards the maybe-relevant items into Slack, and hopes nobody on the team misses anything that matters. That process leaks signal. It also burns the time of the most senior person on the team.
The market response so far has been to sell that team a Bloomberg trade desk subscription at $5K-$15K per seat per year. That covers the top 1% of companies. The rest — the $20M-$500M importers, device manufacturers, and regulated practices — go without and absorb the misses as cost of doing business.
Substance-scoring a regulatory document with an LLM is now a $0.001 operation. That changes the price floor by three orders of magnitude. The market gap is structural, not technical.
§ 02 Principles
- Substance over surface. No keyword alerts dressed up as AI. Every classification carries a rationale you can verify against the source text.
- Honest materiality. Most regulatory documents are M1-M2. The scale stays honest even when it would be more flattering to inflate. M5 means M5.
- Buyer-priced. $79 founding / $99 standard / $299 team. Match volume uncapped. No per-call fees, no "credits", no surprise overages.
- Roadmap in public. /sources lists every queued source with a quarter. We ship in the order the roadmap says, or we update the roadmap.
- Data we don't keep. No accounts, no passwords beyond email, no fingerprinting, no analytics resale. Federal Register is public domain; you remain so.
§ 03 Contact
Email goes to a human. No CRM funnel, no auto-responder. Replies typically within a business day.
