Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Being Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “Treasures of the Pharaohs” Exhibition
The State Department determines that certain foreign-owned objects to be temporarily imported for the “Treasures of the Pharaohs” exhibition are culturally significant and that their display in the United States is in the national interest. This enables the objects’ temporary exhibition at named museums and possible additional venues under the federal cultural-object import exhibition framework.
